+ Students will be able to bring snacks to class. We have set times when these can be eaten.

+ Parents who have not been to a Virtus training and plan on helping in the school even as just a driver need to get qualified.

Electives for the first semester will be on Fridays and follow this schedule: 1st Fridays: Art, 2nd Fridays: Lifetime sports/ Health, 3rd Fridays: Service Project/ Pep Club, and 4th Fridays: Science Lab. In the event that a Friday is missed we will just skip that class. Electives will start September 3rd.


HELP!!

You are being sent home a Volunteer Sign Up Form. Please give consideration on how you can help. There are many different areas of need. These are some volunteer opportunities- chaperone field trips, class parties, small group tutoring, one on one tutoring, class speaker, and helping with special projects. The following are end of the year events that class parents are responsible for: 8th grade graduation reception (7th grade parents), Play Day (8th grade parents), and 8th grade school gift (8th grade parents)

Thank you to all the families who came to Back to School night, we enjoyed seeing all of you! Well school has been in session for over a week now and I think we are all adjusting good. The students have done a great job of jumping right in and doing their lessons, participating in class, and behaviors have been great.
